The Montage Youth Jazz Ensembles, under the direction of Cameron Summers, is excited to provide quality performance and educational opportunities for the communities of Orange County and its surrounding areas. Classes and workshops will focus on the fundamentals of jazz improvisation and stylistic methodology through instruction that incorporates standard repertoire, music theory, and a rich cultural heritage.
The jazz ensemble will explore jazz repertoire, emphasize improvisation, and facilitate opportunities for performances in public venues. Musicians of all ages are encouraged to participate and members will be admitted by audition.
