Montage Children’s Choir

Director: Toni Dhuyvetter, Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance, University of Hawaii, Manoa; trained in classical, lieder, opera and was selected to study at the Munich Conservatory of Music with world renowned soprano Elly Ameling. She has performed in various places in the United States as well as Germany and Italy, as soprano soloist for many concerts and with several choral groups; has also been involved in Musical Theatre with lead roles in Brigadoon, Annie and Sound of Music.

She is also the director of the Cathedral Children’s Choristers which has traveled to Rome to sing for Pope Benedict, to Washington D.C. to sing for the Independence Day Parade and has performed regularly at Sunday masses, local festivals, and America Sings. For the past 11 year, she has worked as the music teacher at Holy Family Cathedral School in Orange, California. She has received specialized training in the Orff-Schulwerk approach to music instruction for Children and is a member of the board of the Orange County American Orff-Schulwerk Organization.


Montage Children’s Choir (MCC) is designed for male and female young singers ages 8-14. The multi-tier programs provide the cultivation of vocal techniques, musicianship, and various performance opportunities. MCC is comprised of two groups: Training Division and Concert Division. Through auditions, applicants may be accepted into one of the two divisions. Both groups will develop their techniques and repertoire on an on-going basis. Members of both divisions will have opportunities to participate in performances that are appropriate to their level of competency.
Regular weekly training / rehearsals (except holidays)
Training Division: Saturday, 3:00-4:15pm
Concert Division: Saturday, 4:30-6:00pm
