MontageArts.org is a performance-based outreach educational initiative sponsored by Montage Group. This arts organization will be comprised of eight separate performing groups: Montage Youth Dance Theatre, Montage Youth Musical Theatre, Montage Civic Orchestra, Montage Youth Symphony Orchestra, Montage Youth Jazz Ensembles, Montage Youth Chorus, Montage Children's Choir and Montage Youth Opera. Each group is directed and coached by gifted artists and passionate educators; among them, many have illustrious performing experiences as professional artists and hold advanced degrees from some of the best universities in the world. In addition, many of them are current faculty members of surrounding colleges and universities and still performing professionally.
MontageArts.org offers young artists and students unique learning and performing experiences with tremendous breadth and depth. Each group has its own programs specifically designed to fulfill its outreach and educational objectives. Young artists and students have opportunities to share the stage with world-class artists and to collaborate with other sister-groups within the organization.
“We shall not be content with just performing in concert halls. We must bring the arts to the people, especially children.” It is with such firm believes that our founders, directors, coaches and artists strive to introduce high quality arts to our youth. To accomplish this objective, we will take many of our productions and perform at various venues in 2010-2011 season.
